The Mets MASSIVE 9th Inning Leads To A MASSIVE Win And This May Be One Of My Favorite Teams Of All Time

Baseball is a 9 inning game and thank God it is because if it was 8 innings we’d be fucked. Considering the Mets were no hit through 8, I’d say an 8 inning game would have be not ideal. 

Luckily they woke up … and I mean woke up big time in the 9th. First it was MVP Lindor.

What a fucking win. 

Listen, anyone can recap a game I’m not here for that more I’m here to say that whatever happens with this teams playoff hopes I think it’s one of if not my favorite Mets team of all time. The way they fight, the way they haven’t rolled over, the way they battled through injuries, the way they have been stepping up with what seems like a different guy every night, and the way Lindor had a team meeting and then backed up every ounce of it by playing like an MVP has been ultra impressive. I said all I wanted was a summer of baseball to somewhat stay in contention and it’s been all that and then some. This is a gritty hard as nails baseball team and I’m proud to watch them every single night. Tough as can be. No quit. God only knows what happens now til the end of the season and the Phillies and Braves are prime to fucking ruin our hopes but regardless I’ll look back at this team as one of my all time favorites. Now go make the playoffs baby !
